DTPC’s Wagamon Adventure Park offers a thrilling experience for fun enthusiasts with its Glass Bridge. Spanning 40 meters, this is the longest cantilever glass bridge in India.
Walking on glass bridges has become an exhilarating adventure found in foreign countries, including China. These bridges consist of glass platforms that allow you to walk over deep valleys or rivers, adding an extra thrill to your experience. Although there are currently a few active cantilever glass bridges in the country, they can be counted on one’s fingers. The existing ones are relatively short in length.
The construction of Vagamon, with private participation, is in its final stages. The project has a cost of Rs 10 crore. From here, you can enjoy a distant view of places such as Kookukal, Kokkayar, Mundakkayam, and more.
The bridge extending from the mountain top to the snow-covered valleys is truly a sight to behold. Officials are hopeful that it will be open in time for Onam.
