Don’t misunderstand that Gavi is just a trip to enjoy the wilderness of the forest. Throughout the journey, travelers will be treated to awe-inspiring sights of streams and wild animals. The bus journey covers approximately 90 km through the forest.
According to KSRT officials, elephants, maws, and wild buffaloes are frequently spotted during the journey. They also mention that if you’re lucky, you may have the opportunity to spot other wild animals. There are eight dams under KSEB along this route. Travelers have the opportunity to see the Moozhiyar Dam, Kaki Dam, Anathode, Kochu Pampa, and Gavi.
The charge is Rs 1700 per person. The trip is planned in a way that we return at 5 am and arrive back by 10 pm. The journey begins with a fast passenger bus and then switches to another bus upon reaching Pathanamthitta. The upcoming journey will be on a short-wheel bus, which is best suited for the Gavi Yatra. The route will take him straight to Gavi via Angamoozhi. To reach Gavi, he will pass through Mylapra, Mannarakulanji, Vadasserikkara, Perunad, Chittar, Seethath, Angamoozhi, Moozhiyar, and Kaki Dam.
We will have lunch and rest at Kochupamba. However, please note that returning from Gavi and going back to Pathanamthitta using the same route is not permitted. Therefore, our journey will take us back to Pathanamthitta via Parunthumpara. Similar to Gavi, Parunthumpara is also a popular tourist destination. Parunthampara, a popular tourist destination in Idukki district, is located between Peerumedi and Thekkady. It is a beloved spot for trekking enthusiasts, offering a rejuvenating experience for both the eyes and the mind. If you are concerned about your ability to climb Meshapuli Mountain, there is no doubt that Hawk Rock will satisfy you. In the event of rain, there is no need for further explanation.
The package charges Rs 1700 and includes bus fare, food, entry fee payable to the forest department, Gavi boating, and lunch. This opportunity is available for 36 people. As of now, 13 trips have already been made from Kilimanoor depot to Gavi.. According to KSRTC officials, there is a high influx of people coming to see the sights in Gavi, and the seats are expected to fill up quickly.
