Chembra is located eight kilometers south of Kalpetta, near Meppadi town. There are various bus services that are useful for reaching Chembra. You can get off at Kalpatta and proceed to Chembra.

Air: The nearest airport is Karipur International Airport, which is 92 km away and is well-connected by state transport buses and cabs.
Rail: Kozhikode, located 79 km from Chembra Peak Base Camp, is the nearest railway station. State buses and cabs are the best way to reach the Chembra Peak Base Camp.
Road: If you are coming from Bangalore or Kozhikode, get down at Kalpetta and take a bus or taxi to the forest office, which is the base of the trek.
