Chembra Peak trek is a prime place for trekking, but prior permission is required. Guided tours are available and will help enhance the entire experience. The difficulty level of the trek is easy to moderate, so people over 11 years old can book this package. A minimum of five people are required to book this trek. Chembra is located eight kilometers south of Kalpetta, near Meppadi town. There are various bus services that are useful for reaching Chembra. You can get off at Kalpatta and proceed to Chembra.

How to reach Chembra Peak

Air: The nearest airport is Karipur International Airport, which is 92 km away and is well-connected by state transport buses and cabs.

Rail: Kozhikode, located 79 km from Chembra Peak Base Camp, is the nearest railway station. State buses and cabs are the best way to reach the Chembra Peak Base Camp.

Road: If you are coming from Bangalore or Kozhikode, get down at Kalpetta and take a bus or taxi to the forest office, which is the base of the trek.
