The Areekal waterfall springs to life as soon as the rain begins to drizzle. It’s no wonder that almost everyone visits this place at least once during the rainy season. Moreover, compared to other places, it is considered much safer here.

The truth is, no matter how you view a waterfall, you won’t experience its true beauty as much as you would from the shore. The forest, with its trees growing in a way that even covers the sky on one side, adds a touch of wildness to this place. It can be said that this is the beauty of this area.
It was said that you need to descend about a hundred steps to reach the waterfall. However, for those who find it difficult, there is another way. You can avoid the canal that connects Pambakkuda Piramadam road and Kakkur Areekal road and instead reach directly near the waterfall if you choose to do so.
