As Eid Al Adha approaches, Dubai is set to offer an unparalleled beach experience for families. The Dubai Municipality has announced that a selection of eight public beaches will be reserved exclusively for families ( family only beaches ) during the Eid Al Adha holiday. This initiative aims to provide families with easy access to some of Dubai’s top tourist destinations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Exclusive Family-Only Beaches
During the public holiday in June, the following beaches will be designated as family-only zones:
1. Khor Al-Mamzar Beach
2. Cornish Al-Mamzar
3. Jumeirah 1 Beach
4. Jumeirah 2 Beach
5. Jumeirah 3 Beach
6. Umm Suqeim 1 Beach
7. Umm Suqeim 2 Beach
8. Jebel Ali Beach
These beaches are renowned for their pristine conditions, stunning views, and family-friendly amenities, making them the perfect spots for a family day out.
Enhanced Beach Management for Eid
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors, Dubai Municipality has put together a comprehensive management plan. Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of the Public Beaches and Water Canals Department, emphasized the goal of providing families with a unique opportunity to enjoy Dubai’s beautiful beaches.
A dedicated team of 65 field supervisors will oversee beach operations at the selected sites during the Eid holiday. Additionally, a team of 140 personnel will be responsible for ensuring safety and rescue operations along the coast. This proactive approach underscores Dubai’s commitment to providing a safe and pleasant beach experience for all.
Preparing for the Eid Al Adha Holiday
While the official dates for the public holiday have yet to be confirmed, it is expected that the first day of Eid Al Adha will fall on Sunday, June 16. The exact start of the holiday will be determined by the sighting of the crescent moon by the Emirates Astronomy Society.
