How To Reach Attukad Waterfalls
Munnar, located near Attukad Falls, is a highly popular tourist town that can be conveniently accessed by car, auto rickshaw, or public transport buses. The Moolakadai bus station and the Kerala State Road Transport Depot in Munnar town are the two specific places from where you can find frequent transportation to the Falls. The waterfall is located 9 km away from Munnar town.
The car route follows the Aluva-Munnar Road and then continues onto the Attukad Waterfall Road.
Look for the bus that is en route to Palivasal from either the Moolakadai bus stand or the KSRTC Depot. Once you reach the bridge near the Attukad Falls on Attukad Falls Road, get off the bus and continue the rest of the journey to the falls by trekking.
Best Time To Visit Attukad Waterfalls
The best time to visit this site is during the monsoons, from mid-June to September, when the waterfall is at its most vigorous form. Specifically, the months of July and August are the peak of the monsoon season.
